I'm Kayla, a Hunter Valley based wedding photographer documenting weddings throughout Australia and across the world.
My work, captured on both digital and film, sits at the intersection of fashion, design and honest storytelling. Inspired by the pages of vintage editorials, the softness of film and the enduring beauty of thoughtful design, I create imagery that feels both contemporary and nostalgic, refined without ever feeling overworked.
I believe the most beautiful photographs are the ones that hold both intention and feeling. The sweeping moments, the quiet in between ones, and the details that often go unnoticed all deserve the same level of care. Every gallery is created with the hope that it won't simply remind you how your wedding looked, but how it felt to be there.

I wondered if I even needed to write anything to accompany this review as the photos say it all. Like honestly, look at them!? Kayla is in a league of her own.
But I did want to also mentioned what a joy it was to spend the day with Kayla. She is an absolute hoot of a human, able to produce genuine laughs, gives such great direction and could not have captured our day more perfectly.
If Kayla is available on your wedding day and you don’t hire her, you have missed a trick. Photos are one of the few things you have once your day has passed, and we feel so lucky to have Kayla’s pictures to remember our day. Simply adore them
"My partner and I got married 3 weeks ago and the photos are phenomenal!! I have had multiple people (friends/strangers/family) comment on how insane the photos are. I am biased because I obviously think they are the best thing since sliced bread but when multiple people tell you that your wedding photographer was incredible - this has to be spread!
Not only do the photos make me feel like I’m a vogue bride but she was the easiest/nicest/and direct (which I love!) person to deal with. Kayla not once bothered me with unnecessary emails prior to the wedding and on the day absolutely showed up! She got Fynn and my vision to a tee - she got romantic, editorial, fun, heart warming reactions - in basic words - she got it all! On the day she was concise, fun and great to be around.

A 20% non refundable retainer is required to secure a date, the remainder is due 30 days prior to your wedding
Absolutely. Extra hours of coverage are $500 per hour. My maximum hours booking time is 10 hours and my cut off time is 12AM
I am based in NSW Australia, but I am available for travel worldwide. I regularly travel Interstate and overseas for weddings
My wedding galleries take up to 6 weeks. If you'd like to receive your gallery sooner you can opt to pay a priority fee of $1000 to move your wedding to the front of my workflow.
Please note, someone else paying a priority fee will not delay your gallery. I extend my working hours to accommodate this
